INFORMATION SHEET FOR ALL PARENTS & STUDENTS

  1. TRAINING FEES
should be paid on the first lesson of every month (12 monthly payments per year) whichever club you go to. If paying by cash – please put in an envelope with student’s name, grade & amount written on. Your space is paid for every month when you pay on time - if you miss lessons due to illness, holiday etc (even up to having a month off training) your training fees still need to be paid to cover your space. You can make up your missed lessons when you are back at training by doubling up your hours at your own club or any of the other clubs.

Late training fees will result in a £5.00 fine.

Single lessons would be £8.50 per hour – because you pay for a block of 4 or 8 sessions – you get a discount.

  1. TIME KEEPING
is a very important part of being a Martial Artist.

Students should always be on time for their class – plan to arrive half an hour before your class, pre-black belt sessions & gradings - then you are covered incase of roadworks etc.

Also, now that we have Grand Masters coming to do gradings & seminars for us – we must show respect and that we are professional at what we do.

  1. LICENCES
All students & parents should make sure your licence booklet is filled in fully and correctly (front & back) and is kept in your training bag at all times.

We have had a couple of incidents where some of the younger students have felt unwell whilst training and not had their licence with them – so we couldn’t contact their parents to pick them up. So please make sure you have your licence with you at all times with emergency contact numbers written clearly in the back.

  1. GRADINGS
Our journey through Tae Kwon-do consists of regular and constant training.

To be asked to grade is a privilege – not a right.

Sometimes you will be ready to grade on time and sometimes it will take 6 – 9 months.

Please do not be disappointed when not given a grading envelope – it means you need more time to mature for that grade.

This is why – at Black Belt level – you have to wait 2, 3 or 4 years between gradings –

so you grow into a better student. You want to be the best you can be!

  1. CHILD PROTECTION LAW
We must ask all parents / carers / students / spectators –

To make sure there is - No Filming, No Mobile Phones, No Electrical Devices etc on any classes.

If you want to use your mobile phones etc please take them outside of the training hall.

Sorry, but due to ‘Child Protection Laws’ – this cannot be tolerated.

  1. PLEASE NOTE:
Our website is now ‘mobile friendly’ –

So you can easily check when the clubs are running – days, times etc.

Or when any closures occur due to exams or weather etc.
