I am a 7th Degree Black Belt in Tae Kwon-Do with the Tae Kwon-Do Association of
Great Britain. I first began training in 1983 and found 'Tae Kwon-Do' offered me
everything I had been looking for: fitness, self-defence and most of all - a
Throughout this time I competed in many major competitions including 3 'World Championships' and have become a former 'SuperSport' and 'English' Champion. I began teaching Tae Kwon-Do in 1989 and in 1994 1 was awarded 'Instructor of the Year' Award by the T.A.G.B.
My first club opened in May 1989 in Mountsorrel. This club then moved to Loughborough in February 1994. My next club opened in Syston in May 1995. The club in Leicester. has been running since 1980 under my Instructor - Mr. Ron Sergiew. I was his Assistant Instructor for 7 years until I finally took over his club in July 1998. Since then all 3 clubs have grown to be very successful with over 400 students in all - some of whom have become 'World' & 'European' Champions.
To pass on my knowledge of Tae Kwon-Do to other students and to keep my clubs running successfully and to a high standard.
